  • 1 apple
  • 2 carrots, peeled
  • 200ml semi-skimmed milk

Method

  1. Ask an adult to help you core and cut the apple in to chunks.
  2. Cut the carrot into chunks.
  3. Put the apple and carrot chunks in the blender, add the milk and blend until it’s completely smooth, and pour into glasses.

If you’re having a smoothie for breakfast, it’s a good idea to have some carbohydrate as part of your meal too. Have alongside wholemeal toast and chopped banana.
