An exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).

WCRF champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking a confident, motivated and reliable Operations Assistant to join our Operations department based at our London Office. The post holder will be flexible, organised and able to maintain an excellent front of house service. This will include ad hoc manual tasks such as arranging and distribution of post, receiving deliveries and welcoming guests/visitors.
You will also be required to manage a range of varied tasks including telephone/switchboard duties, helping to maintain health and safety around the office, arranging repairs and general maintenance with contractors, event planning and execution, travel booking and other administrative duties as required.
The successful candidate must display excellent customer service skills and be adept at dealing with general or complex enquiries, both in person and over the phone, in a polite and professional manner.
You must be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload and prioritise multiple workstreams using your own initiative.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to show strong attention to detail.
Experience of using the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. An understanding of GDPR and confidentiality and/or Health and Safety practices in the workplace is desirable.
