Cancer Prevention Awareness Week 2021

Did you know it's estimated that 40% of cancer cases can be prevented? That's around 147,000 cases every year in the UK.

During Cancer Prevention Awareness Week 2021 (20–26 March), we want as many people as possible to be aware of the steps they can take to reduce their risk of developing cancer, through making healthy lifestyle changes.

We fund groundbreaking research into cancer prevention and survival, which underpins all our work.

Cancer Prevention Pledge

During the week you'll be able to sign our ‘Prevention Pledge’. By pledging to make our Cancer Prevention Recommendations a part of your everyday life, you can help to protect yourself against cancer.

Activ8: Eat Well, Move More

We'll also be launching a healthy living programme to support people who want to eat better and move more. Participants will receive eight weeks' worth of motivational emails, which will include links to specific nutrition and physical activity resources such as tip-sheets and videos, as well as live support from our experts.

Keep checking this page for updates and help us spread the word. We look forward to your support!
