Give in memory
Pay tribute to a loved one with a special donation
"Losing someone is one of the hardest things you ever have to face. I lost my stepfather, Mark, quite unexpectedly and suddenly to cancer – it leaves you with a gaping hole in your life.
"Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him or remember him in some way. He was such a kind, caring and generous person, and life without him has had a big impact on so many people.
"I don’t think you ever get over the loss, you just learn to somehow continue living your life without that person there – and do what you can, where you can, to honour their memory in some way.
"For me, working for WCRF is something positive that I do every day and I believe in the work we do. You can’t change what’s happened, but you hope you might make a difference to someone else some day, and I think that would mean a lot to him."
