Thousands raised by Team Can Prevent at the 2017 London Marathon

26 April 2017 | News, Supporter stories

Many thanks and congratulations to all the members of Team Can Prevent who took part in the London Marathon last weekend to raise money for cancer prevention!

First across the line was Stuart Matthews in the incredible time of 3hr 14mins. Another great performance was from father-and-daughter team Rob and Georgie Tysall-Blay (pictured below) who together have raised more than £6,000.

Team member James Dawson (below) certainly had fun on his way around the course!

Lisa Blair (below), who has raised over £5,000, was ecstatic to find her family waiting for her at our cheering point on the Embankment.

Overall, more than £50,000 has already been raised by the 27 members of the team, with the total set to rise still further over the coming weeks.

Many thanks to you all!

There's lots more photos from this fantastic day on our Facebook page.
