We’ve partnered with Life Kitchen to provide free online cookery classes. We're also providing virtual dietary support groups for people affected by cancer during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.
During the live cookery classes, chef Ryan Riley (co-founder of Life Kitchen) will teach people how to cook some amazing, healthy recipes from our Ryan Riley recipe booklet, as well as practical, flavour-enhancing cooking techniques that can help with taste changes often associated with cancer.
Our registered oncology dietitian, Adele Hug, will be on hand during the live classes to answer any questions and provide attendees with specialist dietary advice and specific ways to tailor the recipes to suit their needs.
Join the classes by following our Instagram account (@wcrfuk) and selecting our live broadcasting stream every Tuesday at midday. The videos will also be available on Facebook after the event.
Online support group with dietician
We know it can be really difficult to know what to eat when going through cancer. That's why we are also offering extra support for those who might need it during lockdown.
People can join our FREE private group sessions on Zoom with our oncologist dietician, Adele Hug. She will talk attendees through how they can eat well during cancer and give them tailored advice on what they can eat to help with some of the side-effects they might be experiencing.
This free support group takes place every Monday at midday. See our resources page for more information on how to join.
