Learn more about promoting and working for our new helpline
WCRF is delighted to announce the launch of our Nutrition and Living with Cancer Helpline; a brand new service for people living with and beyond cancer.
Staffed by oncology specialist dietitians, our helpline will provide the most up to date, evidence based information and support on nutrition in relation to cancer. This will help more people get the vital nutrients needed to support their treatment/recovery journey.
As well as promoting our helpline to your patients, we’re currently recruiting more oncology specialist dietitians to staff the helpline and respond to calls and emails. Work will be carried out from home and reimbursed at £20 per hour.
We’ll be increasing our hours of operation following each quarter of the pilot year, but our primary hours of operation will continue to be lunchtimes, evenings and weekends to ensure the service is accessible to people who are still actively working following their cancer diagnosis.
If you’d like to register your interest or learn more, please contact Christopher Allen, Cancer Support Programme Manager, at c.allen@wcrf.org
