What's included in the pack?
- 1 Healthy Portions, Healthy Weight pad. A set of 25 tear-off information sheets to give to patients after your consultations.
The front of the sheet shows visual representations of appropriate portion sizes of different foods. These have been divided according to the 'Balance of Good Health' food groups. The portion sizes are approximate amounts for an average-sized adult and are based on information from the British Dietetic Association, the National Obesity Forum and the WCRF/AICR Second Expert Report. We have also included a recommended range of how many portions should be eaten each day from each food group.
The back of the sheet shows healthy BMI and waist ranges and includes a space to record patients' measurements. It also includes essential tips to help maintain a healthy weight and a visual representation of a healthy plate of food.
