The Information Standard

We provide up-to-date, accurate, evidence-based information on cancer prevention. We believe that good information can help people understand cancer better and make informed choices about their health.

The information on our website and in our publications is based on the findings of our research and a range of other sources such as government reports.

It’s written and carefully reviewed by specialists and members of the public to make sure that it’s impartial, up to date and accessible.

The Information Standard

World Cancer Research Fund is also a certified member of the Information Standard.

The Information Standard scheme was developed by NHS England to help people identify trustworthy health and social care information easily.

We aim to update our publications every three years and our web pages every two years so you can be confident that the information in them is kept up to date.

We are also grateful for any feedback we receive from people who use our materials. We keep any comments on file and take them into account when we update booklets or web pages. If you have any feedback, please email talktous@wcrf.org.
