Tax-efficient giving
There are many ways that you can help to raise funds for WCRF UK’s cancer research and education programmes of cancer prevention. Thank you for your support!
Gift Aid
Despite this scheme being around for more than six years, we know that many people are still confused about what it actually means to them. WCRF UK is on hand to answer your questions on Gift Aid and other tax-efficient giving mysteries!
Payroll giving
If you are paid through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) or retired and part of a superannuation scheme you can donate to WCRF UK directly from your pay or pension before your tax is calculated. This means that at the basic rate of tax a £10 donation will actually only cost you £7.80.
Gift of shares
Donating shares to WCRF UK is a great way to support our cancer prevention programmes. We would be delighted to hear from you if you wish to donate any shares - either as an individual or a company - and to discuss the tax relief you would be entitled to.
Writing or updating your will
Leaving a gift to WCRF UK in your will can have the effect of reducing the Inheritance Tax (IHT) payable on your estate and at the same time you will be providing future funding that will benefit generations to come.
Charitable trusts & foundations
Grants from funding bodies can make an important difference to the work of WCRF UK. If you are a trustee or have contacts with a Charitable Trust or Foundation, we’d be very interested to speak/meet with you to discuss our various scientific and education projects.
