Stopping cancer before it starts

Recycling

  • Do you have an old mobile phone, sat nav or MP3 player gathering dust at the bottom of a drawer?
  • Does your company have a high turnover of mobiles?
  • Do you landfill (not refill) your printer and toner cartridges?

If you have something we can recycle, or you would like more information, simply call us on 020 7343 4200 or email recycling@wcrf.org

WCRF UK has set up a ‘Recycle for Research’ scheme, whereby you can raise funds for cancer prevention by giving us your old mobile phones, MP3 players, digital cameras, sat navs and printer cartridges. Our recycling scheme is a one-stop shop for all your workplace recycling needs. The scheme is quick and easy to use. We can provide all the materials you need, such as:

  • Freepost recycling envelopes for your old mobile phone, printer cartridge, Sat Nav, MP3 player, laptop or digital camera
  • Freepost labels for larger packages, which we'll send straight to your workplace or home
  • Boxes of recycling envelopes to display in your workplace or in a local community centre

Don’t forget the other fantastic advantage of this scheme is that you’ll be helping to reduce the damage waste does to our environment, as the devices are reconditioned for use in developing countries.

The best thing is that none of this will cost you a penny. If you have something we can recycle, or you would like more information, simply call us on 020 7343 4200 or email recycling@wcrf.org

Mobile phone donate to cancer research

For every 45 mobile phones recycled WCRF UK can pay for an expert team, at one of our research projects, to carry out one day of life saving research into how specific foods, diets and lifestyles can help to prevent cancer.
