Colours of hope

WCRF UK is proud to say that with the help of our supporters we have funded cancer research in more than 22 countries, totalling more than £16million, since 1990 - research that has proven that there are strong links between specific lifestyle choices and cancer incidence.

Scientific findings are then translated into public health Recommendations for Cancer Prevention that can help people to reduce their risk of developing cancer. WCRF UK’s runs education programmes that reach many thousands of adults and children every year, including our Great Grub Club for children, Informed newsletter for health professionals and an information-packed newsletter that reaches 250,000 supporters.

WCRF UK’s Colours of Hope appeal enables people to show their support of cancer prevention all year round. Cancer affects so many people and can tear at the hearts of families; we need your help in raising awareness that about a third of cancers could be prevented. Our continued investment into research and education programmes gives us hope of one day ending the threat that cancer brings to millions across the globe.
