Informa are Going Bananas with WCRF UK for the 5th year in 2011 and are aiming to raise £100,000 to celebrate!

Once again they are 'Going Bananas' for WCRF across the globe on their international fundraising day in April. Employees are chasing grown men dressed as bananas and all sorts of monkey business in their offices, alongside a wide variety of fundraising initiatives that staff organise at other times of the year.

Thanks to the fantastic efforts and hard work of Informa staff over the past 4 years an incredible £280,000 has already been raised to support WCRF UK’s research and education programmes.

Simplyhealth

Healthcare provider, Simplyhealth, donated £40,000 to WCRF UK to fund the first year of a two year project that is working towards developing an early warning test for people at high risk of bowel cancer.
Mace
Staff at Mace Group have voted WCRF UK as their charity partner for the second year in the row. They have donated a fantastic £25,000 over the course of the two years.

Royal Bank of Scotland

WCRF UK are proud to be one of the beneficiary charities for Royal Bank of Scotland's monthly employee dress down days.

Dole Fresh UK Limited, part of the Compagnie Fruitiere group, were the first headline sponsors of our Fruity Friday awareness and fundraising campaign.

Dole Fresh UK Limited's involvement helped to drive the event forward and enable the WCRF UK flagship campaign to expand and grow from its previous success.

Bupa

Bupa have chosen WCRF UK to be one of their charity partners as part of their Community Connections staff fundraising program during 2010.

Their close links to WCRF UK’s healthy lifestyle aims and messages provides the perfect opportunity for their staff to raise fund through mechanisms like payroll giving and our Fruity Friday campaign.

Fasttrack it

Fasttrack IT have partnered with WCRF UK to develop an exciting new multimedia product which has now been launched. Read more about our first ever iPhone app Wheel of Portion.

South African fruit

In 2010 growers in South Africa, home of the World Cup, will be supporting our annual campaign ‘Fruity Friday’ They will be supplying 1000’s of South African apples and pears and campaign materials. Redeem

WCRF UK have partnered with Redeem to form a new recycling scheme, whereby you can raise funds for WCRF UK by giving us your old mobile phones, MP3 players, digital cameras sat navs and printer cartridges.

care2collect

WCRF UK are partnered with recycling company care2collect to support WCRF UK’s textiles recycling scheme.

2Touch

Thanks to 2Touch, the customer lifecycle management company supported WCRF UK as its 2008/09 charity of the year, raising over £10,000 towards our vital cause and continues to raise funds for WCRF UK.

John Lewis

Thank you to John Lewis on Oxford Street, London, who have supported WCRF UK by donating the resources for our 'Candle of Hope' campaign. In the past they have also supported 'Beat the Banana' runs through the donation of fruit for our courageous runners and fundraisers.
