Home How you can help Fundraising campaigns

Fundraising campaigns

At WCRF UK we encourage people to be physically active and eat healthily. Taking part in a fundraising campaign can be a really good way to combine the two, as well as raising funds for cancer research and cancer prevention education programmes.

Thank you for your support!

Walking Together

Take part in our Walking Together campaign by organising a sponsored walk in your local community this autumn. Bring friends and family together whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

Wildflower Picnic

WCRF UK invites you to celebrate summer with family and friends, by holding a fundraising picnic to try out some of WCRF UK’s healthy recipes.

£100 Challenge

WCRF invites you take up the £100 Challenge by holding a small fundraising event. From cake sales to coffee mornings, our fundraising pack includes an A-Z of ideas to help you get started.

To find out more about taking part in or organising an event on behalf of WCRF UK, please call our Events Team on 020 7343 4200 or email events@wcrf.org.

Beat the Banana (17 May 2012)

Go Bananas by running in WCRF UK’s Beat the Banana! 5k fun run on Thursday 17 May 2012, in London’s famous Hyde Park. Make sure you don't miss out on a place in 2012 by signing up to our race reminder service.

Or, organise your own Beat the Banana! physical activity event in aid of WCRF UK with our free downloadable event pack.

Fruity Friday (18 May 2012)

Fruity Friday is WCRF UK’s annual fundraising and awareness campaign with a twist. It’s a great way to get companies, schools, health professionals and your local community involved.

Fruity Friday aims to increase public awareness of the links between diet, nutrition and cancer prevention, and to raise valuable funds. Find out how you can get involved in next year's campaign
