At WCRF UK we encourage people to be physically active and eat healthily. Taking part in a running event is a natural way of combining the two, as well as raising funds for cancer research and cancer prevention education programmes.

If you’re new to running, a 5km distance is a great starting point. It’s also a great way to have some fun – such as WCRF UK’s very own Beat the Banana! run in London. WCRF UK will provide everything you need, from training advice to fundraising support (see right).
If you’re keen to push yourself a little further, why not take part in one of the number of 10km events around the country. Join Team WCRF UK and you’ll get full fundraising and training support (see right).
