Marielle McGovern

Marielle McGovern is going to be taking on the unforgettable experience of cycling from London to Paris! She will be raising vital funds for World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) so that we can continue to carry out cancer prevention research and education programmes. "A few years ago, a classmate and friend of mine passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was much too young to have been claimed by such a terrible disease.

I've often thought about how I could help prevent this kind of tragedy from happening again. That is why I've decided to participate in this year's charity bike ride from London to Paris.

The money that I will be raising will go directly to World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), who aim to prevent cancer by funding cutting-edge scientific research into this disease.

My goal is to raise £1,300 for WCRF UK and I hope you can help me do this.
