Berlin Marathon

25th September 2011

£550.00

"Cancer has affected a number of members of our family, including our mother who fought off breast cancer only to succumb to leukaemia two years later.

One of the things that struck us most about
Mum's death was just how rapidly cancer can take hold and become unstoppable, and how horribly unfair it is when it does.

Hopefully one day we'll live in a world where people don't have to feel the helplessness of watching a loved one die from cancer, but to get there we need organisations such as the WCRF UK to continue their excellent work.

The funds that we raise will go towards helping WCRF UK to promote cancer prevention and save lives. We can't think of a better way for my Mum's death to have some good come out of it than by helping others avoid her fate. Please support us in any way that you can.

Thank you”
