WCRF's Charity Challengers

Teresa, Lorraine and Jai are all members of staff at World Cancer Research Fund and are very much looking forward to taking part in the Run to the Beat half marathon in London on 25 September.

Teresa, WCRF's General Manager, ran the London Marathon a couple of years ago and although swore off doing long distances ever again has somehow been coerced into doing this 13mile/20km distance! Lorraine, WCRF's Global Web Manager, has completed a few 5k runs in the past so it’s a big step up and personal challenge, as well as helping raise funds for the greater good of our organisation’s work. And Jai, WCRF's HR Manager, is taking on a running challenge for the first time ever with a hope to make a significant contribution to the charity and get fit herself! Win- win situation! :)

"We each have our own stories to tell about why we work for this amazing cancer prevention charity but having all experienced losing loved ones to the disease we are united in our passion to raise as much money as we can for WCRF's work.

We are running in memory of lost loved ones and to celebrate cancer survivors. WCRF's work is ongoing in its high commitment to preventing cancer.
