Marathons
At WCRF UK we encourage people to be physically active and eat healthily. Taking part in a running event is a natural way of combining the two, as well as raising funds for cancer research and education programmes of cancer prevention. Thank you for your support!

Brighton Marathon (15 April 2012)
Run in this amazing sold-out marathon which takes runners along the coast of Brighton for glorious coastal views. The atmosphere in the Brighton Marathon is electric so sign up today to avoid missing out.
Paris Marathon (15 April 2012)
The course passes by some world-famous landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and along the banks of the River Seine.
London Marathon (22 April 2012)
This national institution is the largest annual fundraising event in the world covering many of London’s most famous attractions, such as Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament.
Shakespeare Marathon (29 May 2012)
Starting and finishing in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the predominantly flat course is ideal for first time marathon runners.
Edinburgh Marathon (27 May 2012)
Officially the fastest marathon in the UK (as rated by Runners World), this stunningly scenic course is ideal if you’re looking to achieve a personal best.
Robin Hood Marathon (September 2012)
This race caters for every type of runner, from first time to seasoned international, taking in some of Nottingham’s most historic and scenic sights.
Berlin Marathon (September 2012)
Run 26.2 miles through one of Europe’s most majestic and historic cities. The course takes in some of Berlin’s most notable landmarks, such as the Reichstag and the Berliner Dom.
Chicago Marathon (October 2012)
The LaSalle Bank event is famous for its fast and flat course, allowing amateurs and athletes to generate personal and world records.
Dublin Marathon (29 October 2012)
Also known as the ‘Friendly Marathon’ due to the many spectators, the course is a classic city loop with both the start and finish lines near the famous Trinity College.
New York Marathon (November 2012)
The largest marathon in the world covers all five boroughs of New York City, beginning on Staten Island, passing through Queens and finishing in Manhattan
