Working together in partnership
There are many ways companies can work in partnership with WCRF UK, the nation's only registered charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer through the promotion of healthy diets and lifestyles.
The charity has a wealth of experience working in mutually beneficial partnerships with companies. There are many ways in which your company can support WCRF UK and help us to achieve our mission to fund research and increase awareness of cancer, as it relates to food, nutrition and other lifestyle factors, and to prevent cancer in the UK and worldwide.

Charity of the Year
Adopting us as your staff Charity of the Year can realise numerous benefits for your company.
It helps to strengthen internal communications, including staff morale and motivation - aiding staff development and improving communication. At the same time it creates numerous PR opportunities with regional and the national media.
We will work closely with you to make sure the partnership is a success. With your own account manager supporting you throughout, we can also offer you a wide range of fundraising merchandise, communication support and increased corporate profile.
Cause Related Marketing
Cause Related Marketing (CRM), linking a corporate brand or product to a charitable cause such as WCRF UK, is an increasingly important marketing strategy.
A recent study by Business in the Community found that 80 per cent of all consumers who have taken part in a CRM programme will continue to feel positive about the company and brand in the future.

Sponsorship
Sponsorship of WCRF UK's events or publications enables more funds to be spent on cancer research and education, whilst providing extensive branding and PR opportunities for your company.
Events include 'Fruity Friday' and our unique ‘Beat the Banana’ race, along with an extensive sporting programme. Briefs on all our sponsorship opportunities can be provided upon request Recent partners include WorldwideFruits brand, JazzTM Apples, Foods from Spain and British Telecom.

Employee fundraising
Whether you would like to improve internal communication, motivate your staff, promote creativity or just have a lot of fun for a worthwhile cause, WCRF UK is the ideal charity to work with.
A dedicated WCRF UK account manager will work with your company, on an individual, branch (local or UK-wide level), to make sure your event is a huge success.
Here are a few fundraising ideas to get you started:
Company dress down day, fruity breakfasts, quiz night, strawberry tea, raffle, job swap day, donations in lieu of sending Christmas cards, 'Bring and Buy' sales and theme days.
Selling our pin badges
If you have space at your counter, reception or on your desk we can offer you pin badges to sell and raise funds, complete with presentation box and collection tin this is a simple and effective way to raise money and awareness for WCRF UK. Recent partners include Wyvale Garden Centres.
Gifts in kind
WCRF UK relies on companies to donate prizes for a wide range of fundraising events, including our 'Fruity Friday' fundraising campaign, as well as to provide refreshments for our sporting events and activities.
Product donations help to keep our costs down and ensure that even more funds are raised, whilst at the same time providing branding opportunities for the companies involved. Recent donors include Asda, Capespan and Fyffe.
