World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) is asking everyone to wear yellow clothing on Friday 16th May 2008 and make a donation of £2 to help us in our mission of "Stopping cancer before it starts."
Download your simple step-by-step guide to Going Bananas. It’s simple to take part! Yellow wigs, yellow ties, yellow ribbons in your hair - just wear anything that’s yellow. Wear as much, or as little of it, as you want but make sure you Go Bananas on Friday 16th May 2008!

To help with your quest for yellow items, why not purchase our curly yellow wig, or face paints, from the fruity shop?
You can promote Going bananas to employees by uploading our intranet advert to your company website, displaying our campaign poster, or why not send everyone an invitation e-card to invite them to take part?
There are many benefits of supporting Fruity Friday, for example a positive impacts on employee health. Some other examples are:
 making a tangible difference - supporting unique research into the relationship between food, nutrition and other lifestyle factors, and cancer;
generating a positive message - you would be demonstrating a commitment to promoting healthy diets and physical activity for public health to prevent many common cancers amongst your staff, customers and their families.
Don’t forget to register your event. Send us photos and stories of how the day went - there will be a banana related prize for the best Going Bananas yellow photo we receive. Send your photos to fruityfriday@wcrf.orgby Friday 23 May 2008.
