Great North Run – Sunday 5 October 2008

Mike Norton

Mike, is originally from Doncaster but is about to move to King's Lynn to start an Access to Medicine course to allow him to follow his aspirations to become a doctor. Whilst in King's Lynn he will also be working as a nursing auxiliary at the local Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This is his first ever half marathon and he is very excited about running for such a good cause.

World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) is the principal UK charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer through promotion of healthy diet physical activity and weight management.

If you sponsor me this is what you’re contributing to:

•	£15 allows WCRF UK to send out 25 Great Grub Club membership packs, which helps to educate children on healthy eating and physical activity
•	£22 provides 50 Breast Cancer awareness shower cards
•	£39 Enables 100 copies of the 'Guidelines for Cancer Prevention' leaflet to be distributed
•	£75 funds the printing and distribution of 100 copies of the Informed newsletter for doctors, nurses and health professionals, containing the latest facts and news on cancer prevention.
•	And PRICELESS, you might get to laugh at me about to pass out on tv!!!
