Great North Run – Sunday 5 October 2008

Colin McCall, a solicitor from London, is taking part in his first ever half marathon and needs support and encouragement to get him around the course! Help spur him on by donating to him below. Thank you.

"I will be running the Great North Run this year as part of Tootus Maximus's (aka Will Hodson's) army of Roman Gladiators in aid of World Cancer Research Fund. Colin's body has recently become his temple, which is why he will be running for World Cancer Research Fund, which is the principle UK charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer through the promotion of healthy diet and nutrition, physical activity and weight management. Any money that you help me raise will go towards funding the Fund's further research into and raising awareness of this area of cancer prevention.

I've never run a half marathon before, and I have always hated running for running's sake. So please give me a boost by sponsoring my effort. The more money you sponsor me the more I will be tempted to get a respectable time!”
