Kevin Todd, a Structural Technician from Wrexham, is taking on the challenge of completing his first marathon and raising vital funds for cancer prevention in memory of his dear friend, Jonathan Ratcliffe.

"Please help me raise as much money as possible for World Cancer Research Fund. I am running in memory of one of my closest friends, Rattie (see photo), who sadly passed away on the 24th June 2008 at the age of 28 from bowel cancer.

He was the funniest and most kind-hearted person I have ever met and all his family and friends miss him dearly.

Running the London marathon is the least I can do to honour such a great friend.
