James Cameron

James Cameron, a self-employed businessman from Salisbury, is taking part in the London Marathon in honour of his Father who sadly passed away from cancer recently and in order to “help prevent it happening to someone else”. Please support James by sponsoring him generously below. Thank you.

"Having originally applied for the marathon immediately after this year’s event, my Father was diagnosed with cancer 48 hours later. This made me determined that if I were successful in the online ballot entry I would run for a cancer charity.

We have had, as a family, a pretty tough time this year with my Father’s illness and unfortunately my Father lost his battle and passed away on 5 October 2008.

The next day I received news that I had not been selected in the ballot. So therefore I am doing the next best thing, and running for WCRF UK, and am determined to raise as much money as possible and whilst doing it will be constantly thinking of my Father.”
