Congratulations & Thank You to Team WCRF UK who ran the BUPA Great North Run on Sunday 5 October 2008. The sun shone in Newcastle and everyone completed the run, some achieving personal bests and others happy to have taken part in their first ever half marathon. Well done!
What is the Great North Run?
The BUPA Great North Run is the world’s largest half marathon, with 50,000 runners from all over the UK and the rest of the world taking part. From Newcastle to South Shields, the 13.1 mile course is a challenge, but a highly enjoyable one for spectators and runners alike.
