Information for men & women
When it comes to health, differences between men and women extend beyond their attitudes towards check-ups and treatment. Biological differences between the sexes affect health, including the risk of certain cancers.
We can all help to reduce our cancer risk by looking after ourselves better. We’re increasingly worried in the role overweight and obesity play in the cancer process and we know that carrying too much weight can put us at increased risk of this disease.
If you don’t find what you are looking for here, please remember that we’ve lots more information about cancer prevention - including the obesity issue - in other sections of the site.
And please remember to pass on this potentially life-saving information to other family members and friends.
