How WCRF UK makes a difference
Since 1990, World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) has funded cancer research and provided people with the information they need to be able to reduce their risk of developing cancer. Over the last decade we have made huge leaps forward with our cancer prevention research, linking diet, weight and being active to cancer risk.
As well as providing research and education programmes, WCRF UK works hard to measure the impact our messages have on our supporters and also the public. Monitoring awareness levels gives us information to work with, in terms of further developing our programmes to encourage positive behaviour change, which can offer real hope in there actually being a future free from cancer.
